BANTAM LAKE SKI CLUB TO PUT ON ANNUAL SKI SHOW IN AUGUST

Morris CT – The skiers of the Bantam Lake Ski Club are excited to announce that they will continue the tradition of the annual Ski Show. The show will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. and Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Sandy Beach on East Shore Rd, Morris CT.
           
The annual ski show takes place every August, and displays the talents of Bantam’s own skiers, some of whom are ranked nationally on the competitive water ski circuit. The show will include wakeboards, trick skis, water ski pyramids, distance jumping and more. The costumes, music, acts and setting will be sure to provide plenty of entertainment for all ages.

            The Bantam Lake Ski Club is celebrating its 51st year in existence. It was founded in 1958 by a handful of members. Today, the club boasts over 70 active members ranging from one to seventy years old. The water sports themed, non-profit club offers a variety of community service events on Connecticut’s Bantam Lake.
